100% dedicated to the Digital Imaging Technician role. For me DIT is not a pathway job onto something else. I have a great passion for technology and film making while using the skills and experience I have accumulated over my long career. I often impart my knowledge to new camera assistants and runners as they are often asked to wrangle data at some point in their career.
Prior to working in Film and TV, my career started out as an electronics engineer servicing Video and IT equipment over 20+ years and specialising in Data Backup systems working for HP, Symantec, Acornis. My expertise enables me to support production teams with all types of technical issues not just related to DIT to help keep the production running when things go wrong
Between jobs I also freelance as a photographer and Backup Consultant for a number of IT providers.

My DIT Van is a purpose built mobile workplace with mains power charged via solar energy giving me the ability to work off-grid in the most challenging locations.
